The digital Dealers' Notice should be displayed online by all retailers selling precious metal items.  This includes silver, gold, platinum and palladium.

If you can't see it on a trader's website or if they aren't able to give you clear guidance on the way they hallmark their work in line with the strict UK Hallmarking Legislation, you should consider any purchase very carefully.  

The UK Hallmark is made up of the symbols shown to the left.  A .925 stamp on a piece of silver is not the same.  It can be applied by anyone, anywhere, to anything.
